ABOUT US

We aim, in partnership with local churches, to provide a range of youth activities which will foster the spiritual, moral, personal, educational and social development of young people within the ethos of the Christian faith. Local churches provide the premises, goodwill and motivation of volunteer leaders to complement the experience, skill and resources of the Scottish Council.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

To serve in partnership with local churches in holistic youth work that encourages in boys and girls a personal Christian faith and lifestyle.

HISTORY

Campaigner Ministries was founded as a UK organisation in 1922 by Rev Colin Kerr, a Church of England vicar. At the time of its dissolution in 2006, there were 22 Campaigner centres operating in Scotland. The new Campaigners Scotland, established in June 2008, seeks to uphold the ethos of the original movement and to develop the work to meet the needs of young people in the 21st Century. We are in regular contact with colleagues in Campaigners England & Wales and in Northern Ireland.
